In the past, I had a terrible experience with driving schools. Initially, I was determined to never drive again. However, a friend recommended Delta Driving School, and I had a positive feeling about it. I had worked with Sam and Mike for the past year, and on May 5, 2026, I passed my driving test with flying colors. Without their guidance, I never would have thought I would be on the road. I am so grateful to them. They were patient with me, gave me valuable advice, and were honest and most importantly, they gave me the confidence to drive. Thank you, Sam and Mike, for everything. I highly recommend Delta Driving School to anyone who wants to learn to drive.

I felt rather daunted trying to learn to drive as an adult with no family nearby to learn from. Delta really made this process easy. I did most of my lessons with Sam. He was very kind and understanding when I made mistakes in early lessons, and was very honest and clear closer to the time of the exam about what I needed to do to pass and where I was having issues. I also had a lesson with Mike which was great and reinforced everything I had done with Sam. I did 16 hour behind the wheel + the Hamden road test with 0 prior driving experience. Both Sam and Mike took me driving on roads close to the DMV, which was very helpful given that the road test takes place on these roads. I was given very clear guidance on what I had to do to pass and what to avoid / pay attention to, which took a lot of the guess-work out of the road test. Thanks to this, I passed the road test on my first try. While Delta's teaching is mainly geared towards the road test and being a safe driver, Sam was more than happy to teach me things that weren't relevant to the test (highway driving and parallel parking) but that I wanted to learn prior to driving on my own later. The flexibility was very helpful for ensuring I felt confident in my skills as a driver in addition to being able to get through the road test. In terms of coordination with Delta, Mike is prompt in communications and is easy to reach. I very much enjoy that Delta is a smaller school, and that they were so patient and respectful throughout the whole process. I cannot recommend them enough for anyone looking to be more confident in their driving regardless of experience!

Im really greatful for my driver instructor Sam. He a great teacher! Very patient and calm. Anyone can learn easy that way. I definitely recommend anyone coming to this driving school! And guess what!? I'm 34 years old just now getting my license! Definitely worth it! And the prices is good.

We had a great experience at Delta Driving School. We chose Delta because of their good reviews, small size and in person classes. Delta instructors Sam and Mike are beyond agreeable and helpful. Delta picked up my daughter for her driving lessons and we also used their car for the driving exam. With Delta's training my teen daughter was able to pass her driving exam the first time! My daughter is mildy autistic and we are so appreciative that Sam and Mike were understanding and were able to work with her. We totally recommend Delta Driving School.

I had a wonderful experience with Delta Driving School! My instructor, Mike, was absolutely fantastic🤩He was knowledgeable, patient, and always made lessons enjoyable with his great sense of humor👍😜 Mike created a comfortable and stress-free learning environment, which helped me build confidence behind the wheel💪🚘He taught me so many valuable driving skills and prepared me extremely well for my road test! Thanks to his guidance and support, I successfully passed my road test! 🤩🏅I highly recommend Delta Driving School, and especially Mike, to anyone looking for a great driving instructor!!!
