Connecticut Driving Schools

Terms of Service

Last updated July 26, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using this site you agree to these terms. They apply both to families who browse and contact schools, and to driving schools that participate in our per-inquiry program. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What the service is

ConnecticutDrivingSchools.com is an independent directory of state-licensed driving schools. We are not a driving school and we do not provide driver instruction — the schools listed are independent businesses responsible for their own services, scheduling, pricing, and licensing. Families browse listings and contact schools directly. Participating schools may pay a per-inquiry fee to receive and manage the inquiries sent to them. Paying a fee never affects a school's ranking, position, or visibility on the site.

3. Inquiries and lead collection

When you submit an inquiry form we collect the details you provide — such as your name, phone, email, the student's age, ZIP code, the service requested, and your message — along with basic technical attribution (referrer and device) captured automatically. We use this information to deliver your inquiry to the school you contacted, to send you a confirmation, and to operate and improve the service.

4. Sharing with the school you contacted

Your inquiry is shared only with the single school whose page you submitted it from. It is never shared with, sold to, distributed among, or auctioned to other schools. We do not operate a “get matched with several schools” service. Aside from the service providers that help us run the site (for example email delivery and payment processing), we do not sell your personal information.

5. School billing, valid leads, and disputes

This section applies to participating schools. Your current pricing, the exact dispute window, and any spending caps are shown in your dashboard and govern your account. A billable inquiry is a genuine consumer inquiry, matching your offered service and service area, submitted with valid contact details. Charges draw from your balances in a fixed order: promotional credit first, then prepaid balance, then your card on file. You may dispute an inquiry within the dispute window using the provided reason codes; approved disputes are refunded to the same fund type that was charged. If a payment fails or a card is removed, your account may be paused until it is brought current. You can pause your account at any time.

6. Text messages and communications

We send text messages only if you gave express consent by checking the separate SMS consent box on the form. We record the version of the consent text, the timestamp, and the IP address. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Standard email confirmations are sent for the inquiries you submit.

7. Call recording

Call recording is off by default. If call tracking is ever enabled for a listing, a disclosure is played at the start of the call before any recording begins.

8. Data retention and deletion

We retain personal information only as long as needed to operate the service — by default up to 24 months — and then delete or de-identify it. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing hello@cincinnatidrivingschools.com, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

9. License records and reviews

License status is sourced from the official state driver-training registry and is not editable by schools. Ratings and reviews are provided by Google and displayed with attribution. We show this information for convenience and do not guarantee its completeness or accuracy — always confirm a school's current license status with the state before enrolling.

10. Disclaimers, liability, and governing law

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Because the listed schools are independent, we are not responsible for the instruction, conduct, scheduling, or outcomes of any school, and any agreement you make is between you and that school. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the site is limited to the fees you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim. Participating schools agree to indemnify us against claims arising from their services or their use of inquiries. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, and we may update them from time to time — continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
