Jessica is a fantastic instructor! I already had my license but lacked confidence on the road. She created a relaxed, supportive environment that immediately put me at ease. Highly recommend her to anyone looking to build their driving confidence. Jessica is the best!!!
The entire team made the process incredibly smooth, nice, and supportive from start to finish. I purchased the package with five 2-hour behind-the-wheel lessons and the adult road test, and it was worth every penny. My instructor, Corrie was absolutely amazing. I deal with a lot of driving anxiety, but her calm, supportive approach completely alleviated my nerves and built my confidence. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. Now that I got my license I will be coming back for the highway lesson as well. Highly recommend!
I had the pleasure of taking the Commercial Driving School Instructor class with Armand, and I highly recommend him. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced in the field. What I appreciated most was how easy he made everything to understand. He explains complex material in a clear, straightforward way, and he takes the time to make sure everyone is following along. His teaching style is organized, patient, and very engaging. If you’re considering taking this course, Armand is definitely the instructor you want. Excellent experience overall!
I started driving school to become a certified driving instructor. I was treated with the most amazing patience and understanding as I am 46 and it's been a while since I was a student. I was given all of the tools needed to learn everything I needed to pass the testing an successfully be able to pass along knowledge to students that I will eventually be teaching. Armand and all of the staff at A-1 (It's a wonderful family owned business which I think makes them that much more perfect for this business) are not only wonderful teachers but they are caring, compassionate and really do right by their students (I experienced this and saw it while in the car observing new drivers learning who had no experience and were behind the wheel for the first time). They are also bilingual and are able to really help a diverse population of new drivers. Not only do I feel prepared for this new adventure and career but I learned how to treat students first hand from the best which I know will set me apart from the rest. A-1 Driving is The best of the BEST... I could not recommend them more - if there were 100⭐️'s I would rate them that!
As an immigrant, learning to drive in a new country can feel overwhelming — new rules, different road signs, and the added challenge of language barriers. That’s why I’m so grateful I chose this A1 driving school. From day one, the instructors were patient, respectful, and incredibly understanding. They didn’t just teach me how to pass the test — they made sure I truly understood the road rules and felt confident behind the wheel. They explained everything clearly, sometimes more than once, without ever making me feel uncomfortable or rushed. What really stood out to me was how supportive they were of my background. They understood that adjusting to a new country takes courage, and they treated me with kindness and encouragement every step of the way. Scheduling was flexible, the lessons were well-structured, and the car was always clean and easy to handle. Thanks to them, I passed my driving test on the first try! More importantly, I now feel independent and confident driving on my own. I highly recommend this school to anyone — especially newcomers and immigrants who may feel nervous about starting this journey. They don’t just teach driving; they empower you to succeed.
