I took the required 8-hour adult safe driving course here and had a good experience. When going to book the 8-hour course, I found the website quite confusing. I was confused because everything made me "schedule" an appointment, even an application. I thought they offered one 8-hour course (all in one day) as they state on the website, but I was later notified that they only offer two 4-hour courses (on 2 separate days). I was also confused about the whole classes A&B and C&D classes. I called the office (in West Hartford), and the woman who answered the phone was extremely kind, understanding, and did an amazing job explaining how these courses work and the schedules they offer. She helped me sign up for the two 4-hour courses on 2 different days that worked best for me. After that call, I understood the school's "appointment" system much more. It is just the way that they organize their website. On 2/28/26, I took the A&B adult safe driving class with Mrs. Domagola. She was punctual, funny, and created a great environment. The questions she asked during class made the class interactive. She made the class entertaining and extremely educational. She made it fun. I would 10/10 take another class with her again. I took classes C&D with Mr. Negrao on 3/01/26. You could tell he was knowledgeable on the topics, but I do wish he explained some topics better and had been better at answering some questions in the chat. Besides that, both of these teachers were a pleasure. I would recommend this school to every adult or teen who is starting or continuing their driving experience.
There are many driving schools out there. I personally used Epic and I highly recommend Epic. It was very easy to sign up. I signed up with my brother and even got a discount. I bought the whole package. All the classes, the parent classes and 2 hours of driving. It was very economical. Classes are done online. They are easy to set up. If life gets in the way, it is easy to reschedule. The classes cover everything in the CT handbook, plus practical things that you will need to know but are not in the manual. There's a lot of time invested but I spread it out over a couple of months. I felt very prepared to take my written and driving test. Speaking of driving. The driving instructors they employ are awesome. I was nervous when I started with the instructor, even though I had practice behind the wheel. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable and very easy going. They put me at ease so I could focus on driving. If you want to learn all you need to know to pass your test and to feel comfortable and confident doing it, than I highly recommend Epic Driving School.
My dad had such a wonderful experience with them. Their vibe an energy radiates positively, they want you to pass. Recently switched over driving schools, with just one driving session with them he was able to get his license, they guided him in the right path. Wonderful people
Epic Driving School is the best, before, during and after you use their service. Here's why. I researched driving schools before I selected Epic Driving School. Epic took the time to answer all my questions before I signed up with them. It took several phone calls and a emails before I understood all that I needed beforehand so I could obtain my drivers license. Once I signed up, they gave us a discount because my brother and I joined at the same time. I was able to set all of my online classes right after we joined. I am in high school so I needed to set my online classes after school, (evenings and weekends). It was simple and easy to do. I was able to set all my classes at the very start so I had my entire schedule. It is very easy to change a class if something comes up and you know that you are not going to be able to make a class. This happened a couple of times. Just go online and select reschedule and then you reschedule. It's that easy. At the end of each class they have a review quiz. If you pay attention in class, the quizzes are easy. They don't share any grade but they do let you know that you completed the quiz. I would always receive a reply after submission, "Yay! You are the best!", so I assumed I always passed my quizzes. I assume that if you didn't get enough questions right, they would reach out to you. So I signed up for all the classes and road driving. I took the classes, even the parent class with my parents. I passed all the online classes. Next was the road driving with an instructor. I had been practicing driving with my parents for months. I chose to wait until I was done all the online classes, but I don't think you have to. I wanted to build up more skill. Once I felt ready, it was easy to set up time with the instructor. It was one-on-one with the instructor. The instructor was great. He was patient and knowledgeable. Even though I had been driving for awhile, he still offered much advice and corrected me (nicely and constructively), when necessary. My time with my instructor built my confidence. Epic instructor are very calm and patient. Plus they share things you will need to know for your driving road test. After my time with Epic, I felt very ready for my road test. You can use Epic's car to take your driving test. In that situation, they have all the paperwork and get the information to the DMV. I have my own car so I went to the DMV directly. I practiced some more after I was finished at Epic. Epic trained me very well but I just wanted some more time on my own. I wasn't pressured by my peers or parents to get my license, so why not strengthen my skill? When I went to sign up with the DMV, I had to reach out to Epic for some paperwork to be submitted to DMV. They were super easy and nice about it. I just explained some road blocks (no pun intended) that I was facing with the DMV. Epic took care of those right away. I was able to sign up and shortly after, I took my road driving test and passed. I am now a licensed CT driver. I put in the time and the effort but Epic gave me the skills and knowledge I needed to pass my driving test. If you want to pass your driving test, then start with Epic. They do so much for such a low cost. Epic is a great investment. If you're a parent reading this, then sign your child up with Epic. I went through their classes and driving. I am a safe and cautious driver. Epic is the best school you will find out there.
