My driving and instructor was Bill Mead, and he was amazing to say the least. He was so kind and made sure to push me to do better while still being gentle and making sure I felt safe and comfortable. He also explained things amazingly. For example, he taught me a tactic with the three white lines and how the curb would line up and a phrase to remember when backing up into parking spaces. He even drew things on a piece of paper so I understood them. I thoroughly recommend!😊
Our son Christopher is 26 and has some Autism. He spent a couple of years at Next Street completing the course requirements, taking driving lessons, and trying to pass the Road test. He just took the road test a 3rd time and passed it!!! He is so thrilled to have his driver’s license and we are so happy for him too! He was quoted as saying “I am so grateful for the time that Ron & Bill from Next Street took to make me feel relaxed and comfortable when driving: they were friendly, calm, and didn’t make me feel rushed”. My husband and I also took Christopher on many driving lessons but we are also grateful for Next Street and happy with the services and support they provide to special needs individuals and their families. Not only were Ron & Bill personable and professional, but they also took time to get to know my husband and I, and listened to our concerns while inquiring about Christopher’s learning style. Also, every time Christopher called to ask questions, book a lesson or online class, or book his road test, the customer service representatives were very pleasant and patient with all his questions and we are all truly thankful for that piece as well. Donald at the Danbury Next Street (lesson 4) was extremely helpful with my parking, was very patient and willing to share his knowledge. I feel much more confident for my road test!
Donald in Danbury coached my daughter through her fourth lesson and he was just such a wonderful cheerleader and instructor. She’s so ready to pass her test, Donald tells me she’ll have no issues and is a very competent driver. His manner is so friendly and easygoing, daughter said she’s very confident on the road, even at night, even in the country. Thank you, Donald, for getting her fully prepared (and for the turkey cooking advice!). Would highly recommend!
