NEVER have your driving test with the DMV agent named Lisa. She gave me a lot of attitude. When I had to drive back, I had to take a left. I saw the distance of the car. It was far away, it was at a safe speed. I turned left and she gave me attitude saying I couldn't do that. The car didn't need to slow down like she claimed as it didn't pass by the road I turned to until way after I safely entered. Then there's a small road, I went slow since I saw the parked cars and I obviously didn't want to scratch them. She gave me attitude saying I needed to slow down (acting as if I was driving fast) so I didn't crash into the PARKED cars. The speed meter said I was going 10 mph maybe even a little bit less. I don't know what her problem was but she seemed very unprofessional. I also just remembered, I asked if there was any cameras in the car so I could prove I wasn't making things up. I was told that either there wasn't any cameras set up, or the cameras weren't turned on. Not a very safe thing if you ask me considering things like this can happen all the time.

I paid over $300 for a private lesson package that included one road test fee. I already know how to drive (I hold a license from another country). The main reason I chose this school was to practice with the same type of car I would use for the road test, or at least be given time to get familiar with the test vehicle. However, the practice car and the road test car were completely different, including the location/type of the parking brake. In the practice car, the parking brake was in one position, but on the test car it was in a totally different location. Because I was not familiar with the interior layout of the test car, I could not find the parking brake during the test even though I knew I needed to use it. This directly caused me to fail. Before the test started, I told the examiner that my English is limited and it’s hard for me to explain clearly. I also explained again after the test that I had never driven that version of the car, and the school gave me no time to learn where controls were. The examiner did not listen. Afterwards, I called the driving school to explain why the test car was different from the practice car and asked for a reasonable solution: a free re-test arrangement, an extra practice session, or even just 15 minutes to familiarize myself with the new car before testing. They refused everything and provided no explanation. If the school can switch the test vehicle without providing any familiarity time or support, then paying for their “road test package” is pointless—I could have used my own car for the DMV test. Very disappointed. I do not recommend this school to anyone who needs fair preparation and professional service.

Kerrianne was really kind and helped me understand my faults and wasn’t at all rude when I made mistakes. She was very fun to learn with and I really hope make everyone proud and complete the license test first try! 👍👍
