If you are looking for a driving school to help with your teenage kids, your search starts and stops with the next street!!! These guys were absolutely amazing, and helpful in every way!!!! After I made the mistake in using another school in Monroe area that abruptly closed down mid classes, I looked into the next street, and they blow away the competition in every category! Professional, courteous, helpful, and understanding! They helped my son put the finishing touches on lessons, and him achieving a perfect score! A huge shout-out and thank you to Andrew and Sarah for helping my son get his license by your calm and professional approach, really helped build his confidence and guilded him to that perfect score! I have 1 more child left for driving school and you better believe, there's only one phone call I'm making in 2 years! Thanks to the next street for making me feel at ease and comfortable after dealing with what we did, with the 1st school. You guys are amazing!

I did most of my lessons with Donald (1,2, and 4) and he was very helpful and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a driving instructor! He made me feel both much more comfortable and prepared to drive. In addition, the clarifications, learning about the controls in the car, and all the parking techniques and safety techniques were very helpful and will definitely be useful in the future; and for the DMV drivers license test. Would recommend this location and him!

Took multiple driving lessons with Lindsay, and she was fantastic to work with. She’s very detail-oriented and attentive, and she shared many helpful tips and tricks throughout each lesson. Lindsay also provided thorough notes to take home at the end of every session, along with a clear list of things to practice based on what we worked on. She created the perfect learning environment, professional yet comfortable. If you’re planning to take driving lessons, I highly recommend working with Lindsay.

A massive Thank you to Donald at “The Next Street” (Monroe,CT) for being such an incredible teacher to my son, David. Donald was with David from day one, and the transformation has been amazing to watch. After completing classes 1, 2, and 4, my son is not only a more skilled driver but a much more confident and comfortable one. On David’s last day, the look of pride on his face said it all—he was so proud of himself for what he was able to learn under Donald’s guidance. As a parent, I truly valued that Donald always took time after class to speak with me. He provided a very honest and balanced perspective, consistently highlighting David’s progress while clearly identifying the mistakes we needed to work on at home. Seeing David walk away from his final lesson feeling so accomplished was priceless. If you want an instructor who truly invests in a student's journey from the very beginning, ask for Donald!

We had an amazing experience with Sarah at the Monroe Next Street! She immediately put us at ease especially because this was the highway driving lesson. She also had a great sense of humor. She was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the process. She also made my daughter feel comfortable throughout the lesson. She did a great review to start the lesson and also taught her new skills and continuously checked in to make sure she was ok. Overall, Sarah was professional and very supportive and a great instructor to have a lesson with! 5 stars!
